Learn How to Maintain & Repair Industrial Equipment

San Joaquin Valley College’s Maintenance Technician program teaches students to work on industrial systems and equipment. Graduates of this program typically work at manufacturing and distribution companies, often operating and maintaining industrial equipment or in a supervisory position.

Our students study the basic principles, applications, concepts, and functions of hydraulic systems, bearing and seal types, and power transmission components.

Overall employment of industrial machinery mechanics is projected to grow 13% from 2019 to 20291.
